“Hmm. You are 2cm dilated! You must be admitted!” Doc
“Now?” Mama
“Yes! Now! Ok, you can go home and pack first. But latest by evening!” Doc
“Ok!” Mama
I was on my own at NUH for my regular antenatal checkup and didn’t expect to be admitted.
The next moment I knew I was already in delivery suite!

So what actually happened to the labor?
Eleven Hours long marathon from 1.30pm till 12.34am;
compared to my first pregnancy, I was in labour for only 8 hours long.
Well, the mama’s cervix didn’t dilated enough. Even after 4 hours in delivery ward from 1.30pm, I was still at 2cm wide. So my labor was induced, doc inserted a small, plastic hooked instrument into it and broke my water bag.
YIOUCHH!! Actually, it was painless but the contractions grew stronger!
Tick Tock Tick Tock. Another 4 hours passed by, I was still at 3cm wide.
# At that time sempat nenok RTM 1, welcoming awal Muharram. Heheh!
The pain was getting intense but still bearable. Doc suggested on Epidural but I stubbornly said NO! I was then given a drug through an IV pump to increase the contractions and was told that if this doesn’t work too, I would be cut! Oh! Oh! Not Caesarean!
In my mind, I prayed and prayed and prayed while inhaling the Entonox gas continuously and at about 10pm, the pain became worst. I felt like shitting it out now.
Pushing Baby Netty out was not as easy as my first pregnancy. My Dear Papa told me that each time I pushed, Netty’s head appeared just a bit and then when I stop pushing to gather my energy back, her head would go back into my womb. This time the pushes were uncountable!
Finally Baby Netty came out of mama’s womb at 12.34am on 20 January 2007 in National University Hospital. Syukur Alhamdulilah. I finally made it! I finally made it!
She was in a pink health, weighing at 3.165kg and 51cm tall. I cried the moment I gave birth to Baby Netty. Syukur Alhamdulilah, I didn’t have to go through Caesarean.
My mom said that maybe Netty got stuck cos my womb was very compact! Heheh!
..
Baby Peach was named Netty Feona; meaning kindness and pleasing to eye (fair). She was a lot taller and heavier compared to Dear Haney, who weight at 2.8kg and 43cm tall.
Agaknye Baby Netty makan simpan dalam mulut macam hamster?

Peek-a-boo Everyone! On behalf of my mama, I would like to thank all aunties and uncles for the wonderful warm wishes. Mama had finally got back home but she’s all worn out cos she said her house had been messed up by a huge typhoon!!! Well, actually the main culprit was me & papa!!! Hahahha! We are total failure without mama around!!
At the moment, she’s strong enough to edit 3 photos of adexku! Phuuuweek!! Alamak ape la mama nie! Nevermind la. Poor mama, she’s still recovering from her 12 hours labor. Yesh!!! TWELVE HOURS!!! We shall story this next time okay!!!
For now, Let’s welcome my dear Adex Netty aka Little Peach, who was born on 20 January 2007, a week earlier than her actual delivery and weighing at 3.165kg and 51cm tall. She’s alot more heavier and taller than me!!!! I hope she don’t bully me when she grown up one day.
But I think I will bully her first! Khekhkehekh!

I’ve been having false labor alarm for past days and my tummy pain went on and off like a 56kbps analog modem.
If the connection went berserk, you won’t even received an alert “pain” email on your MS Outlook but as soon as you get reconnected back, the pain would come like a continuous spam email.
Yes, it’s an intense, frequent, irregular pain which ease of after some time and the moment I thought about labor, it dashed off in a zippy. Plus I’ve been shitting often too. I kept losing my bowels at least 4 times a day. Each time I eat, I shit, not forgetting I still vomit too. That is why I kept getting hungry too.
Haiz. So tiring
I finally cleared my work and I’m sitting here in my office with my leg straight out resting on a printer box quietly. SYIOK! With free Air-con plus super fast internet connection and a small pillow for me to laze on my chair, I love it.
Somehow I experienced differently this time, I’ve got 9 days to my EDD but I’m still not in labor. Hubby had been frequently teleconferencing with Little Peach asking to pop out soon. As for me, I’m always dreamy in the car except trying to bear the pain. I wonder what my next new adventure would be. Bismillahhirrahmannirrahim.
I think Little Peach is much smarter cos each time I think about labor, the pain just evaporate away like mist. Funnily, Little Peach can even amuse me by kicking my tummy after each pain vanished which perhaps telling me that hey mama, I’m having a blast time in here! I’m now stamping my footprint for memoir in your tummy.
I told my mom about my frequent pain and not being in labor. Interestingly, she said,” Ah tu die ngah berkemas la!”
Berkemas eh? Berkemas ape?
Agaknye gosok tali pusat kasi kilat ke? Hahaha!
Or learning how to do braiding with the umbilical cord? Hehehhe!
