I bet everyone is as busy as me too. 4 days more to Syawal and I can smell cookies everywhere in every cube but my kitchen is in a mess only on weekend.

Thanks to work commitments, I declare not to take leave this year. The kitchen is still opened but the baking is momentarily closed for a moment. Heee.

Somehow this year, our raya preparation is rather slow. Maybe with a little help from fdh, there’s nothing much to clean up at home except the regular stuffs. Thus, everything is still the same just like every year but a more meaningful year with our children all grown up pretty fast and knew the meaning of ramadhan and upcoming Syawal.

It’s baking time again! Every year before raya, the kitchen will always smell like a bakery shop but this year it’s a little bit different because instead of having one monster, I got two cookie monsters messing and chomping away my cookies. Alamak.

Anyway, have you mummies out there started on baking raya cookies? We’ve just started it today. So if you haven’t, go now to the kitchen and start exploding that oven with sweet smelling of home-bake cookies! But please don’t eat too much cookies or you’ll end up be the cookie monster yourself! Heee.
