Yippie, Weekend came and oh dear, so does the wash!
It’s the only time I get to do the laundry for the kids before the bucket overwhelmed with fabric lava on the toilet floor. What to do? I’m a working mom. The moment I reached home, I had to prepare milk and read with them before bed. Once all sleep, it’s resting & couch potatoing time plus getting ready for tomorrow.
Usually, it’s dear papa whom does it but still; he surrendered hanging all of them up to dry.
Why?
Cos he said the kids wore twice as much as us and it’s just too painstaking to peg one by one.
Do excuse him; he has very cute fluffy bubbly fingers so he got tired after pegging all the kidz’ clothes. Thus, the profession works better for extreme small fingers like the mama. I show you why.
So the washing had been divided into 2 chores.
Washing / Pegging Chores
Regular Human Usage – the only male
Miniature Look-alike Usage – the female
Fresh Clothes Chores
Folding – the female
Ironing – the only male
Wondering why ironing was never me? Cos I’m a big loser in creating clothes looking crispy that the dear papa didn’t even let me iron my own clothes. Bueeewweeek.
..
..
Back to wash, thankfully, I got a robotic cleaner; the 5.5kg washmachine that I stuffed from clothes to teddy bear to even pillows which I almost made Haney bathe in it too. Just Kidding.
Hubby used to argue with me that the soft toys aren’t for washing but then when Baby Bop’s shoes turned grubby and smelly, you mean I have to go and buy a new Baby Bop for her.
Hmmm so the next time someone asks how many soft toys you have Haney?
I got a dozen of Baby Bop! It’s all over the closet waiting to get dirtied. Woooow!! Hehhee!
So what next after washing, of course, its folding time. It would take the mama about 2 hours just to fold tiny little toddler baby clothes and stacked them nicely in their wardrobe. With 2 babes, you suddenly see an increment of girly clothes at home and that’s weekly wash.
Yes weekly. My profession for weekend would be Indigestible Popiah Maker!
If only I got a bucket full of dinosaurs instead so at least they could help me with the manual scrubbing. Heheheh!

Today she turned 32 months. How is she?
Hmm let me see. Full of mentelisma & cheekiness little bunny!!!
She’s been bullying Little Sister Netty! She’s been acting like a baby. She’s been rather mischievous too; singing and blabbering words like Gogo, Bobo, Gaga and Baba. Actually, she’s just imitating her Little Sister Netty. Sometimes when she speaks, she would utter nonsensical sounds. It’s not that she doesn’t know how to pronounce it but more of just making fun of it.
Naughty girl!
Once she squeezed Netty hand so firmly which made us screamed. She even rolled a mini car on Netty’s head. The worst would be jumping on the mama’s bed when Netty was sleeping soundly. Gosh. She almost made my heart burst into flames but then how would life be without screams & cries and end with a wonderful laughter. And who says siblings don’t argue or fight or scream. I do. Well, even my hubby & I too argue constantly but we forgive & forget. Hehehe.
Actually, she just wants to follow what adek does. That’s all.
Other than that, she’s been a wonderful lady. She’s such a marvel that sometimes my heart melts listening to her conversion.
“Mama, Nanti adek big! Haney hold adex hands and walk with adek. Ok!”
Yupz, she said that to me. Awwwwwwwww. Lovely.
At times when I’m reading books with her, out of the blue Little Netty cried, I would tell her,” Kecian Adek nangis, Mama give Adek milk first ok. Wait ah 5 minutes, nanti mama continue!”
So one day the Nenek told me that she was praying when Little Netty cried. Kakak Haney came to the rescue and told her,” Adek tak nak cry la! Tak nak cry!! Wait ah! Wait ah! 5 minutes… Wait Nenek come!”
Hahahhahah. I think she learnt that from me.
That’s my funny girl at 32 months with an adek we called Little Netty!
..
..
Having 1 babe is already tough, with 2, it’s even rough. Yes, It’s true I had an extreme bumpy ride with Haney whom wanted her time only. But then after giving her the undying attention and explaining her endlessly plus my “5 minute” approach, she finally seems to sunken in that no matter how busy I were, I’ll definitely be with her before sleeping time. Syukur Alhamdulilah. But of course you must be back after 5 minutes & never ever keep empty promises to her as she does remember it well.
Initially I did have mixed feeling when I’m having another one cos my mom kept grumbling and nagging that a gap of 3 years was rather closed. Hmmmm. Excuse me mom, those years, generation gap was 1 year. Lagi closed!!! Perhaps I love Haney too much that I was afraid losing the bond but I was wrong. In fact I was even closer now, with both and I’m pretty much loving it. Well, if it was 5 years gap, Haney and her little sister would not be close pals. Perhaps, I guessed. Hmmm. Maybe. Hehehe. But by looking at the dear papa with his little brother who is 5 years younger, they don’t usually have any common conversion. Heeee. Unlike my brothers whom both in earlier 40s with 2 year gap, the bond was so closed that even till now they went fishing together.
So motherhood was not bad at all. Just a few changes and adaptation here & there. I’m thankful to have both. Even happier, with now Haney sleeps as early as 9pm and Netty sleeps soundly from 12pm till 6am. Syukur Alhamdulilah. Finally my mom said,” Senang Jugak eh jaga dorang dua!” Heeeee!!
Syukur Alhamdulilah, Mak! Berkat Doa Mak!
……
Back to my 32 months Haney, I bought her a Giant Nursery Rhymes book and she loves it so much that I think she had memorized almost ½ of the songs.
Of course only the mama would understand her singing tunes. From Old Mother Hubbard to Wee Willie Winkie, Bobby Shaftoe, Doctor Foster, Polly put the kettle on and many more. It’s so fun but I think I still need to learn more how to sing some unfamiliar rhymes. Her current favourite would be Goosey Goosey Gander cos there’s an old man whom she called “Atok” fall down the stairs. She kept saying,”Kecian Atok!”
Very Compassionate!
Finally, just like her papa, she loves sea creatures & corals and now she knew where Clownfish aka Nemo lives.
She said it as AE – NE – MO – NE which spelt as ANEMONE. Hahhahaha.
Oh yes, Potty Training still malfunction. She’s only diaper less at home but not yet outdoors cos she still needs to be reminded to pee. Otherwise she will forget. So at the moment she still on Huggies Pull Ups and each time we are outdoors, I’ll bring her to pee in the toilet with me. At least she’s dryer while outdoors and each time we go out, we need to bring only 1 piece.
Hmmm bila la mama die nak bawak handbag!

Just 2 days before the mama started working, we went to have a wonderful fun family time, just THREE of US! Sorry Adex Netty! Next time would be your turn! Heheheh!
We drove up to Sentosa and park the car there. Carpark Charges only $1 for FULL DAY. Cheap. Cheap. Cheap. Then we took the Sentosa train aka Sentosa Express to VivoCity for lunch and then back to Sentosa again by train.
But there’s gimmick here.
The trip from Sentosa by train was not a 2 way passes which meant that for $3 ticket, we were able to use to go to VivoCity only and to come back we had to pay another $3 ticket. Unless we are from VivoCity to Sentosa, it’s a 2 way trip.
SUMMARY PRICES:
Entrance by car – $2 per head plus $2 per car per entry (kiddos FREE!)
($2 for car + $2 X 2person = $6 Total Cost)
Entrance by train – $3 per ticket per person (kiddos FREE!)
(from VivoCity to Sentosa back to VivoCity – 2 way trip)
(from Sentosa to Vivocity only – 1 way trip)
Entrance by ship – SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK!
..
Heeeeeeee. Nevermind. So long bunny is happy with her train ride!
Next we hop on the tram to Palawan Beach for a roundabout trip. Just for the sake of taking the tram aka horse ride!!! Hahaha.
Then we headed to Sentosa Luge & SkyRide for a family go-karting. The SkyRide height limit was 90cm but haney was only 91cm. She almost didn’t get to ride on it. Thankfully she was wearing a hat so she looked tall. Hahahhaha. Play Cheat!
4 rides for family pack was priced at $25 bucks, it was Awesome! During the SkyRide, I was preparing for some scream from dear Haney instead it was the dear big papa bear screaming at her!!!
She sings, she smiles, she swings and then we scream at her for swinging her feet!
# Die ingat nie playground swing ke???
The Go-Kart was weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Last stop, we went to Palawan Beach and let her run wild with the water fountain by the beach. Awesome.
I’ll make sure it shall be a monthly family time! Insya’allah.
