Saturday morning; the mama was cooking for the papa dearest his lunchinner at home while Adex asleep and Haney occupied herself in her room. Curry Chicken, his favourite.

Then suddenly she told herself, I think I need to be mobile in case of emergency so without Nenek’s knowledge that we are hopping to her house, the mama made the decision herself.

Yes, the mama’s first public transport with one pre-schooler and a baby in a sling. Poor Papa Bear! Saturday has always been a must for him to work full day. So we got to be independent once a while!!! Naik lemak naik vroom vroom aje…

Hahahha. I was aiming for the MRT but due to Netty’s “Must Have” items in the big bag, I surrendered. Plus Haney wanted to bring her own toy bag. Leceh minah nie.

But overall she was a wonderful helper.

I thought it would be a bit difficult but then it was breeze except that I had no stroller. I find that a stroller was more difficult to handle than a sling. Yes, it could be difficult for some new moms. As for me, Alhamdulilah manageable, I guess practice made perfect. Initially the papa bear disapproved of me having a sling cos he thought it was flimsy. After 5 months using it, he knew it was really good for me. Sometimes I can go hands free with it too. REALLY!! Dah macam handphone gitu! I wonder if I can drive with my sling on!! Hahah. Nonsense!

So I had to use the sling for Netty; my left arm sling the baby bag and my right hand holding Haney while crossing the road.

Sound leceh; well actually not, it’s very convenient.

Okay, not so bad cos at this age, Haney does listen to my decision. She helped me carry the milk bag while holding her potato chips in the NTUC bag. She only complained to me that the milk bag was heavy but she still carried it. No choice! Hahahah Mama die bully.

The only laughter she did was when she whined while hailing the cab along the road. So funny!

“Mama, taxi lambatnye! Slow la!” she kept whinning!!

She gave up standing and squatted when the cab arrived after 30 minutes. Thanks to the car seat trained babe, I placed Haney’s seat belt on and Netty straight went to sleep! Hahhaha! Syukur Alhamdulilah.

Off we went to eat Nenek’s halal homemade dumpling! SuperSedap!

Perhaps that day was a breeze cos Haney behaved! Sometimes her behavior can make my hair burn into flames. Like a Bunsen burner! ## sesiapa nak gigit budak nie, I give FREE OF CHARGE!!!!

Woohoa Times really flies when you are busy working mom with 2 kids. My latest edition just turned FIVE MONTHS! Just look at her remind me of her dear sister Haney! But still 80% resemblances just like the papa bear!!
