Of all the days, why must she get sick on her most enjoyable day!
She was down with fever the night before. Her lips were all red. Her body was very warm. She was all quiet. Yet she put up a brave front and she smiled happily with her cute friends. The best of all, she did her obstacle course without any hiccups. Plus, her group won the first place. Even most wonderful was that her whole group became the champion! It was her first Sport’s Day and she did her mama super proud! She was in bumblebee group; buzzing the honey bees. My dear honey haney!
Well even if she didn’t win, I’m sure she enjoyed her fun time with her friends and teachers around.

Wow, it’s saturday. Time flies so fast with endless work on the desk; the next moment is another weekend to be spent with the kids. How are they today?
Ok 70% fine. Hahaha. Well, not they are sick but more very mischievous girls. Hee. Despite having the car, I brought them out for a long walk from home to the shopping mall to have a morning breakfast. Yes morning, 9:30am. Dah macam nak go work. I got Fina to help so I omitted the pram. It’s pure walking. Nak exercise konon! Hee. Like real.
Actually, walking with kids is fun because they get to see lot of living things around. At the same time, Haney taught her mama about trees. She said leaves fall when they turned yellow and when they are green, they still up in the tree. She said when the wind blows, the leaves fall to the ground. Soon when the sun shines on it, it will turn brown. Interesting.
She got excited when she saw one big yellow leaf on the ground. Oooooo.
Mcdonalds we came as Haney wanted hotcakes. It’s been some time I last had a good nice bf with them and I’m superbly surprised with Haney’s appetite. She ate one whole pancake, one hash brown and half a cup of milo. Phew. A four year old to be five’s tummy. Not bad. Even Netty was a loser at breakfast. She just ate 3 small pieces of hash brown and that’s it. Hmm.
Next destination was to the library; I know kids love playground but then once awhile I just want them to have a good interest in books and listen to her mama melodramatic reading expression. Hee. It’s a good place for kids like mine to interact with other kids in the library. It teaches them to share and be friendly with each other. Plus to care and love the books too which at times can be a bit of heartache to keep reminding the dear adek to stop stepping on those innocent book. Grrr. I also find some girls behave so well that they can just sit there reading real fantasy story books for a long time. I wonder when my haney will be reading those kinds of books just like me. Then it will be a good reason for me to bring the kids to the library every weekend, instead of shopping malls. Hee. But then most of the library is inside the shopping mall. Hmmmm. Heeee.
Noon time came, so we walked back home with a pack of munch to tame the kids on the way home. 5 years of motherhood apprentice; I realized food always tame kids but of course their favourite food. It’s not sweet or chocolates but more of cheesy crunchy munchy tidbits. That works wonderfully and it also makes them forget about their daily dosage of milk especially for Netty.
Just 2 more minutes reaching home; Netty grumbled.
“Tired. Tired. Mama!”
“Hot. Hot.”
Heee. Poor girl.
The great thing about going out early in the morning is that after all the commotion on the way home; you get precious peace time all by yourself writing about life online while the kids sleeping soundly in their room.
That’s our Pretty Sweet Saturday.

Haney had to go to school at 8am so we waited for the van to arrive at 7:30am. She’s going to JW Stadium for her Sport’s Day rehearsal this morning. My morning peace was shattered by my children’s voices outside my room. It’s 6:30am and they both were wide awakened.
Thankfully, the girls slept early yesterday night, superbly early like 8pm. Hahah. Her dear mama was super excited reaching home with nice strawberry donuts from the mall just for both of them and found one bunny sleeping on the couch and the other bunny sleeping soundly in her bedroom. Heee.
Poor haney; got all worn out waiting for me on the couch and eventually slept on it too. To erase the guilt; I woke up and dress up early just to send my little bunny to school today. Yahoo! Hope she have fun today.
After that, I brought adek back home before heading to work. We too had another girl chat together.
“Adek, kakak mana?” mama
“Kakak hilang!” adek
“Huh? Mana hilang!” mama
“Hilang!” adek
“Kakak go school!” mama
“Kakak Nini school!” adek
“Ah, that’s right” mama
Then she smiled innocently at me. Hmmm. Adek oh adek.
