Hello Henderson Waves

July 20th, 2009 § 0

After the hype of Henderson waves, we finally made our walk to the waves. Whooooah. It’s really steep but the view was spectacular and the wind was super strong. Despite being all sticky with the humidity, the kids enjoy their short walk, exploring the flora and fauna around them. It’s interesting looking at their faces when we said we are going to the jungle.

Netty asked,”Got Giraffe?”

Haney replied,”No Giraffe, adek. Giraffe at the zoo!”

Hahahahha. Farnie!

With fdh at home, we told ourselves that it’s better to let her recuperate on every Sunday. After all the cooking and cleaning, a maid is still a human. Need to recharge, nanti pengsan mati beta!!!

Plus the kids had grown up now and it’s much easier to walk around. And also we felt closer to them without the fdh. It’s really like a family. Yup, laughing around happily comes inclusive with yelling and screaming and hair raising moment in which I don’t care if people are staring at me. Children do have stress moment like us too. Hahaha. Except that they do it more openly + very openly emotions. LOL!

Stroller is no longer needed, thus we just took one kid each. That’s one of the reasons why we stick to .dos. children. The time we have for them is very precious + limited and our love towards them comes purely on weekends. With the busy life in SG, the care and attention is very important. Plus now haney’s school is getting tougher for her. Spelling comes in 5 alphabets. She was taught and remembered counting even numbers too. Yup and she’s only kindergarten.

I think next year, she’ll be learning subtraction and addition too!

Oh yes, to go through baby life again for both of us after being able to sleep soundly for a year, hahahha, errrr, I think we’ll be thinking 100 times. But of course having a baby is the best life we ever had, it’s blissful. We love children. For us, the house is always full of laughter with them around and they constantly kept us smiling no matter what. How much we got tired with endless work, we bound to have just an hour for them both. Plus with children around, whenever we got into an argument, eh who said we don’t argue, but in a very sensible way, we tend to poke fun at each other. In the end, we simply forget it. Children are starlight that brightens the dullness in a home. If I could be a sahm, I believe that’s the best job I will ever get to see my children grow up in front of my eyes. But of course, kita merancang, dia yang menentukan segalanye… (I knew before I married I planned for 2 gals & 2 boys, but must migrate mesia dok kampong so le ternak ayam, itik, ikan dan seikan dengannye. hahahhaa.)

So for now, Sunday will be our family day. Yup, just the four bunnies jumping around in SG.

Next stop; let’s explore daytime at Sentosa, ok. Papa!

Bali = Barley

2 hours ago before her mama brought her to sleep. She was tickling me and hugging around, giggling with me while I pointed to her the photos of our trip to Bali with her last year.

“I think I want to paste Bali photos on the wall!” mama

“Bali? What Bali?” haney act blur

“Bali! The place that we went last year! Part of Indonesia!” mama making faces

“Bali, you mean that barley for drinking?” Haney closing her mouth cheekily.

“Hello. Bali! Not that Barley!” mama tickling her and laughed

“Hahaha.” she giggled at me!

Well, My dear cheeky lady disturbing me! Of course, she remembered Bali.

Bali & Barley sound the same. Act smart la tu!

Princesses Painting

July 11th, 2009 § 0

Haney’s painting is getting better week by week. Last week she painted a flamingo, the week before it was a lion and today was her home.

Initially her mama thought of sending Haney to art classes but I think since both girls are super tame when her mama is around teaching them painting, it is better for her to teach them herself.

Not only, they both get to learn painting, they also learn how to share and care for each other.

It’s not easy as painting need lots of patience, time and effort just to make one beautiful artwork. This is tough especially for my 2 year old Netty. Her terrible two tantrums sometimes agitated her and reduce her patience. Nowadays, she’s very possessive with her belongings. Luckily, kakak sometimes gave in to her and at times mama also needs to remind her little adek that not everything is hers. She simply needs to share.

Apart from that, Netty is improving her finger posture while holding the brush. It’s getting better too and I’m very proud of her. Hopefully soon she’ll be able to stroke the brush slowly and paint beautiful artwork just like her kakak too.

So I guess having art classes at home is better. Better, I think it’s the best and I get to be close with them after working like crazy cat on weekdays. Heheheh. Ok, mama, next, let’s shop for more art and craft stuffs.

Where am I?
